Objective: The study assesses the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of medical and allied health science students in KP, Pakistan, regarding AI use in healthcare.

Methodology: This online survey, conducted from August 1, 2023, to October 5, 2023, involved 577 medical and allied health science students at Khyber Medical University, KP, Pakistan. Survey results were analyzed quantitatively by using SPSS 26 with a p-value = 0.05.

Results: Findings revealed that 55.5% of participants were unaware of AI. Knowledge score varied (average 57%, good 22.2%, poor 20.8%) with significant differences by gender, location, age, experience, and education. Student attitudes towards AI were poor (30.2%) or average (44.7%). Despite limited training (61.7%), a majority (78.5%) showed interest in AI education and integration in the curriculum.
